FAQ

What is The International Society of the Eucharist?

The International Society of the Eucharist is an initiative focused exclusively on educating people about the Eucharist and inspiring them to have a more personal and profound relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist.

What inspired the creation of The International Society of the Eucharist?

In 2019, the Pew Research Center conducted extensive research around what Catholics believe around the Eucharist. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) responded by launching a multi-year initiative known as the Eucharistic Revival. They also called upon lay people and Catholic ministries to imagine how they could contribute to renew Catholics’ understanding and appreciation of the Eucharist.

The International Society of the Eucharist is a direct and innovative response to this invitation.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. We will send you a tax letter specifically for your specific donation to the International Society of the Eucharist.

When will I receive my welcome gifts for donating?

You will receive an email confirmation after you join and a shipping confirmation email when it is shipped. The order will arrive to you within 10 days of receiving the shipping confirmation email.

What are the international goals of this initiative?

Our dream is to consecrate the whole world to Jesus in the Eucharist. One person, one marriage, one family, one neighborhood, one parish, one diocese, and one country at a time. The whole world consecrated to Jesus in the Eucharist.

Our strategy is to focus on one country at a time, beginning with the United States. Our hope is that the bishops of each country will formally consecrate their country to the Eucharist, just as Pope John Paull II consecrated Russia to Mary on March 25, 1984.

How do I update my membership with the International Society of the Eucharist?

Members of the Society are participating in sacrificial giving. This is inspiring and humbling. We understand that circumstances change, especially financial circumstances. You can pause, cancel, or increase your monthly gift at any time, just contact our team at: info@theeucharist.org

How will my generous donation be deployed for maximum impact?

Our mission is to increase the number of people who believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, by empowering individuals, families, parishes, schools, dioceses, and countries to consecrate themselves to Jesus in the Eucharist.

First and foremost, this will mean encouraging every Catholic in the United States to experience 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory and consecrate themselves to the Eucharist.

Beyond that, we will be developing a series of resources designed to re-engage Catholics in their appreciation and understanding of the Eucharist. It is our hope that these resources will help Catholics to experience Jesus in the Eucharist in a whole new way.

What resources are available for this Eucharistic Consecration?

At present the following resources are available:

33 Days to Eucharistic Glory: This guide is the first-ever Eucharistic Consecration. Be one of the first people in history to walk this journey and discover the genius of Catholicism and the glory of the Eucharist like never before.

33 Days to Eucharistic Glory for Kids: Take your kids on an epic journey with Mother Teresa, John Paul II, Thérèse of Lisieux, Maximilian Kolbe, Thomas Aquinas, Sister Faustina, and other spiritual masters to build a lifelong relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist!

The Eucharistic Consecration Journal: This journal is the definitive companion to the first-ever Eucharistic Consecration. This unprecedented spiritual resource presents profound truths, critical questions to ponder each day, and life-changing exercises—all in an easy-to-follow daily format.

The Study Guide: A small group companion for your spiritual journey. Discover life-changing discussion questions and exercises that will prepare your heart, mind, and soul for Eucharistic Consecration.

The Video Series: The video series currently being deployed for the first time through Best Lent Ever.

We are excited to offer an array of unprecedented resources to guide you, your family, your parish, and your diocese to experience Eucharistic Consecration. Check them all out here.

In the coming weeks, in addition to these resources, we will also be unveiling plans and strategies that parishes, schools, and dioceses, can use to lead groups through the Eucharistic Consecration.

In the months ahead we will also be hosting other speakers and authors as they take you through the 33-day journey from their own unique perspectives.

How is The International Society of the Eucharist associated with Dynamic Catholic?

The International Society of the Eucharist is an initiative affiliated with Dynamic Catholic, established for a specific mission: to increase the number of people who believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist by empowering individuals, families, parishes, schools, dioceses, and countries to consecrate themselves to Jesus in the Eucharist.

I am a Dynamic Catholic Ambassador. How is that different from being a member of The International Society of the Eucharist?

Thanks for being a Dynamic Catholic Ambassador. Your generosity makes it possible for Dynamic Catholic to serve more than 10 million people and 10,000 parishes each year. Your donation as an Ambassador makes dozens of programs possible including the Catholic Moments Series for Sacramental Formation, Best Lent Ever, and dozens of faith formation offerings for people of all ages. These efforts respond to the ongoing needs of Catholics and the Church.

Being a member of The International Society of the Eucharist and becoming a Eucharistic Missionary is different. By joining The International Society of the Eucharist, you will become part of this historic effort to educate and inspire Catholics about the truth and beauty of the Eucharist. This initiative is much more specific. It is responding to a very specific need at this moment in the life of the Catholic Church.

What is the pilgrimage Matthew spoke about in the videos?

The pilgrimage Matthew spoke about in the videos was held in Fatima in October of 2024. Our next World Consecration Pilgrimage will be in 2026. Click here to learn more.

A message from Matthew Kelly:

More than fifty million Catholics in the United States have stopped practicing their faith over the past thirty years. Many of these people are our family members and friends.

What is the difference between the people who have left the Catholic Church over the past thirty years and those who have stayed? I believe the answer to this question holds the key to re-energizing the Catholic Church. And this is the answer: Those who believe don't leave. Believe what? Believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist.

Beyond the millions who have left the Church only 31% of Catholics who remain believe Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist.

Where will renewal come from? Who will re-energize the Catholic Church? I have become convinced that the renewal of the Catholic Church will be a Eucharistic renewal, or there will be no renewal at all. There is simply no other way. It is time to raise up a grassroots movement to ensure Catholics understand the beauty, power, and privilege of the Eucharist.

Today I invite you to join The International Society of the Eucharist. Our mission is to increase the number of people who believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist by empowering individuals, families, parishes, schools, dioceses, and countries to consecrate themselves to Jesus in the Eucharist.

This is a difficult time in our world, a confusing time in our culture, and a challenging time in our Church. Two groups of people will inevitably emerge: Those who do nothing but complain about it and those who are willing to do their part, however small, to make a difference. Together, we can make history by ensuring the Eucharist has its rightful place of prominence for generations to come.

Will you do your part?

Join the grassroots movement that is ensuring Catholics across the world understand the beauty, power, and privilege of the Eucharist.
